What stays on your device

Your saved profile, CV, shortlist and notes are stored in this browser. CV text is read and reviewed on your device. The app has no account or cloud sync.

What gets sent to find jobs

Rolefinder sends your country and search terms to its server. Terms can come from job titles, skills and interests you enter. If you search without keywords or searchable profile details, Rolefinder can use recognised terms from your CV. The server passes search terms and country to job sources where supported. A listing status check sends the listing link.

The host receives ordinary connection information, such as your IP address. Rolefinder uses a short in-memory request limit to keep job searches available.

Deleting data and applying

Use Remove CV to delete your saved CV, or clear this site’s browser data to remove your profile, shortlist, notes and CV. When you open an application page, that site handles any information you submit there.
